Cloud Foundry is the industry standard for enterprise Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and today's announcement ensures that it will maintain this position and expand its lead over competitors. ActiveState Wins 2014 Cloud Computing Product of the Year Award from TMCnet ActiveState is honoured to receive TMCnet's Cloud Computing Product of the Year. The Cloud Computing Product of the Year Award, presented by Cloud Computing magazine, honours vendors with the most innovative, useful, and beneficial cloud products and services that have been brought to market in the past year. ActiveState & SUSE form partnership to provide Stackato PaaS for SUSE Cloud 4 Stackato 3.4 now supports SUSE Cloud 4, delivering a readied solution for enterprises adopting Cloud Foundry on OpenStack for application lifecycle management and accelerated deployment. The partnership provides infrastructure services and platform services to meet the current and emerging needs of enterprise IT, growing in complexity and increasingly including hybrid cloud strategy. SUSE and ActiveState will work together on tighter integration with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and SUSE Cloud, and the companies will promote the solution through joint ‘go-to-market’ activities.
