Hi sherly,
We want to share some recent and upcoming happenings with regards to ActiveState Stackato, the cloud platform for creating your Private PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service).
Stackato now supports Private PaaS on More Platforms
Stackato recently added support for HP Cloud Services; see it in action with this screencast. The newly released Stackato Beta v 0.8 adds support for OpenStack, Linux KVM and Citrix XenServer as well as a Management Console: learn more.
Deploying and managing apps with Komodo IDE 7 and Stackato
Now you can deploy apps directly from Komodo IDE 7 (currently in beta) to Stackato. We've created a great demo video showcasing deployment of apps to Stackato, accessing of data and more, all from within Komodo IDE 7.
Support for Cloud Portability (TOSCA OASIS)
In December, we announced our support for the OASIS (Advancing Open Standards for the Information Society) TOSCA initiatives to increase service and application portability in a vendor-neutral ecosystem. The aim is to enhance the portability of cloud applications and services, ensure smoother migration of existing applications to the cloud, and add more consumer choice.
We will be hosting a webcast showcasing portability in the cloud. Join us for this webinar on Feb. 8th:
